In a departure from our usual British based layouts our N gauge modellers have decided to cross the Atlantic and build a scenic layout based on a section of the Rocky Mountaineer Railroad route in Canada.

Continuing our commitment to construct easily transportable layouts this is being built across three connected 3' by 2' baseboards.

This is intended to be a circuit type layout with a scenic front concealing a fiddle yard.
Operation will be by DCC with switches for points and signals.
